After crankin’ out some unbearably cute remixes The Shoes have done something uberspecial with their new single “Knock Out”

The french duo have got some of our favourite artists to take a snapshot of their footwear. And get this… every copy of the limited single comes with a signed Polaroid!

The artists involved include: CSS, Bloc Party, The Darkness, Kavinsky, Band of Horses, Busy P, Mystery Jets, The Cribs, MGMT, Does It Offend You Yeah?, Metronomy and many more... Woah!


This is probably the most adorable, cleverest, and effective marketing scheme I’ve seen in a while.

If I don’t fall in love with The Shoes because of their music it will be because of this heart-warming little gimmick!

But luckily their music is pretty damn good also! The first tune I heard was their remix of Primary 1’s hold me down which I was stuck on for longer than I’d like to admit. I love their new single also...undeniably catchy chorus! No wonder it's been spinnin' all around town!
