Culture Prophet from South Carolina, USA recently returned from a mammoth European tour spanning 6 countries.

Now that they have returned and are well rested, I thought I would catch them and ask them a few questions before they flee South Carolina on a huge US wide tour.

For those who don't know Culture Prophet, describe your sound and what you're all about.

We make heavy electro that is inspired by everything from heavy metal to baltimore, rap to new wave and everything in between


I've noticed you've reworked your most well known track "Hustler". What changes did you make?

We re-mastered it mainly but when the re-mastering took place i noticed some things wrong with the vocal tracks so i did some fixing to those as well. All the music is the same though just remastered and remixed


You recently did a big European tour. What were some of the highlights?

It is truly hard to say which were highlights. Every show we played, every person we meet, and everywhere we went had its own highlight. We had an amazing time and we are looking forward to doing it again ASAP! Europe is a haven of world class producers.


Did you get to meet and hangout with some like-minded artists?

We sure did. We meet Sidechains, Man and Man, Fckn Crew and Toxic Avenger just to name a few. They were all completely amazing!


What were some of the cultural difference between Europe and the U.S. did you find most striking?

Haha Well people seem to be a little more about the show in europe than the US but having not played some of the bigger parties here in the US I can't really say that yet. So we will just have to see

And finally... Tell us about your live shows! Anything crazy happen whilst on tour?

Girls trying to tell me to fight there huge british boyfriends for no reason at all. Truly she said this guys from South Carolina and he will kick your ass to a huge body building man. It was frightening but luckily i didnt get murdered.
